An exciting opportunity has arisen within Enterprise Risk & Risk Infrastructure reporting to the Manager CRO Data, as part of a team of credit data specialists to transform how we manage and control data across a range of critical services, helping to transform these processes and align to the bank wide data strategy.

The difference you'll make:

  • Being part of a high performing team to deliver outstanding results for the business
  • Championing best practice data management principles across Risk and the wider organisation
  • Providing insight and challenge to the CRO data management framework
  • Implementing data strategy for CRO data across critical services
  • Understanding whether data consumption and production is aligned to regulatory definitions
  • Understanding data transformations within services and if data produced is fit for purpose and controlled

What you'll bring:

These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:

  • Experience of SQL, Python, and/or other programming languages
  • Experience of using AWS, Snowflake or other data warehouse tools
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts, and have an analytical mindset
  • Good stakeholder management skills

It would also be nice for you to have:

  • Basic understanding of credit risk management
  • Previous experience in the financial Services / insurance/ banking Industry
  • Computer science or data science background

What else you need to know:

This 24 month fixed term contract role is based in Milton Keynes.

To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).

How we'll reward you.
