Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Analyst
£26,500 - £30,500 plus great benefits (Work Level 6B)

12-month secondment / fixed term contract

We're looking for an Electronic Data Interchange Analyst to join the Source to Pay team within our wider Co-op Business Services (CBS) organisation. CBS is made up of a number of diverse teams dedicated to delivering high-quality, reliable and cost-effective business services across our Co-op. You'll play a key role in helping CBS to support and realise our group vision of 'co-operating to build more value for member-owners every day'.

In this role, you'll manage all aspects of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processing, using your experience to onboard new suppliers and support with continuous live EDI traffic. We'll look to you to report and resolve any issues and make sure all orders, delivery notes, invoices and credits are being processed correctly. What you'll do

  • Manage and co-ordinate inbound processing for EDI enabled suppliers (production and development) making sure that all transactions are received into the Co-op Network efficiently and on time
  • Supervise traffic through the SNC (Supplier Network Collaboration) system and troubleshoot any issues whilst collaborating closely with external suppliers, Commercial Supply Chain and Optimisation Centre teams, tracking issues through to full resolution
  • Handle the effective onward processing of invoices through SNC, working cross functionally to resolve issues in line with GSCOP regulations
  • Act as the subject matter expert and point of contact
  • Regularly interact with internal partners, reporting key performance measures to identify areas of improvement
  • Review, plan and develop best practice, systems, processes and procedures to allow continued improvement that meets the needs of the business
  • Build great relationships with colleagues and managers, making sure that high-quality service is provided at all times

This role would suit people who have

  • A confident manner; you'll be representing the source to pay and EDI team across the business and with external partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; you'll be managing a wide-ranging supplier, customer and product portfolio
  • An intermediate level of Microsoft Excel Skills and a knowledge and understanding of EDI messaging protocol and systems
  • The ability to work across multiple different trading businesses and systems, processing and interpreting large volume and complexity data
  • Prioritisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment
