Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to participate in paid intern opportunities. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.
Your role:
· Design and implement ETL (Extract Transform Load) pipeline for performance data to help with the development of highly scalable Philips Hospital Patient Monitoring distributed system
· Work with cross functional teams to design and enforce established standards for building data collection and reporting solutions
The project includes:
Collection of data from disparate sources and processing into a common dashboard
Create models based on collected data and generate insights and predictive analytics
Provide assistance with interpretation of raw data, statistical results or complied information
Continually explore opportunities to improve processes in the ongoing development of analytical tools and models, ad-hoc reports, dashboards and analysis
Applies automation techniques to existing reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
You're the right fit if:
· You are pursuing a Bachelor or master's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant courses.
Your skills include…
- Experience with DBMS concepts (e.g. SQL Server and SQL queries), experience with No-SQL databases a plus
- Proficient with MS Excel
- Prior knowledge/experience with a data analysis tool (e.g., Qlik reporting, PowerBI dashboard, Tableau etc) is a plus
- Knowledge of programming languages - Python, Java, Go, C# or C++
- Experience with CI\CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub actions, Azure DevOps) a plus
· You've acquired 2+ years of experience in University and/or previous internships or coops in data analytics\data science\software development
· You're a Self-starter, Independent, willing and able to quickly learn new applications and technologies
