As the data protection officer (DPO), you will act under the UK GDPR and facilitate the firm's compliance with GDPR and other applicable data protection legislation by ensuring effective systems and controls are in place to comply with legal obligations The DPO will act as the focal point for data protection activities and act as intermediary between relevant stakeholders within the firm. Undertake periodic data protection audits, including all relevant manual filing systems, computerised filing systems, any outsourced processes, archived systems and back up data, to assess firm's compliance with data protection requirements and ensure any deficiencies identified as a result of an audit are addressed.
